Lush Mask of Magnaminty Review

Love this mask, at first I thought it was going to be really harsh on my skin but it’s not, I use a little water to make it more spreadable. I love the smooth result, smell and the way my skin feels squeaky clean.

This is one of the most unusual masks I have ever used. That's not to say I don't love it, I do but it is a bit different. This is kept in your fridge, the peppermint oil loves that and will give your skin an amazing cool and clean feel. Perfect for summer nights. My skin feels so soft and super clean when I use this. Pop into your local Lush store and they will give you a sample to try, and I am sure you will be back to buy a whole pot it is that great. Font forget to keep an eye on the expiry date.

Love this mask in summer. Gives a nice cooling effect to the skin and reduces inflammation. Smells so fresh.

Truly love this scrub, there's nothing else that makes my skin feel so clean and refreshed. Smells minty fresh which can be nice and energizing. It comes out of the pot pretty thick, but easy to mix up with a little water in your palm if you want a more spreadable texture. It's easy to get good coverage either way and with minimal crumbling off even when it dries. I have oily and acne prone skin, but this scrub once or twice a week leaves me feeling clear and glowy.

I love Lush and would definitely get this face mask again. It depends on your skin type, however, if you are looking for a mask that gives you squeaky clean skin then this is the one for you! The only con is that we need to use these masks within the due date (3months) as they are hand made but otherwise these are the best masks.

The mask is quite thick and creamy in texture, minty green in colour. I love the scent of the mask, it smells like spearmint, I find it very pleasant and refreshing! The scent of the mask is balanced perfectly, the mint isn't that strong that it is over-powering or stings the eyes at all. Despite being thick in texture it spreads easily over the skin, it is easier to spread than most of the other lush face masks. The mask feels very invigorating, cooling and refreshing on the skin. From the moment of application there is a quite cold, cooling sensation on the skin which I loved and found to be very refreshing. The exfoliating granules in the mask are tiny and very gentle on the skin, not harsh, rough, scratchy or abrasive at all. Unlike other clay masks it does not dry really hard, go stiff or feel tight and uncomfortable as it dries; it does start to flake off a bit after 10 minutes while it is drying though. I'll definitely be buying a new one when my current one runs out.

I am on my second pot of this product. Mask of Magnaminty is a bit costly (nearly 20 bucks per pot) but it smells so delicious, like a vanilla-ry, minty scent.

I notice when I wash it off my face is noticeably smoother, but it doesn't really reduce the redness of existing pimples or breakouts. However, the next day, I do notice that blackheads or whiteheads are "pulled" more to the surface, which I think is due to the bentonite gel. You can also use it for back acne, but I haven't tried it for my back, because I don't suffer from back breakouts.

I probably will not repurchase to find more effective products, but it may work for others.
