I was very reluctant to try this product but we had a pink day coming up at work and the box does say it washes out. I gave it a go. I bought the Pink color. I squeezed all the product evenly over my hair. Then I got a hair comb and combed it through until I was sure it was evenly dispersed. I left it on for the maximin time (i was feeling brave) As I washed it out I could see it wasn't going to be bright. After it was dried I absolutely loved it. The pink was soft on me and it suited my complexion giving it warmth. I would defiantly recommend this product. It washed out as it said, 3 - 5 washes. Very nice

I tried this when I was 15, so take this with a grain of salt. I tried this after the colorista ombre one after I wanted something more dramatic. This made my hair straight up orange and my hair was a hay-ish texture. I never got my original hair texture back until my hair grew out. I guess that’s something to be aware of. I wasn’t aware of it, so I lost my marbles.
Tips: Don’t let the bleach touch your scalp, because it will burn.
I used this to pre lighten my hair for a bold colour and was disappointed at the results. I normally use another brand but they were sold out so I thought I'd give this a go. The packaging is nice and it's easy to use but I found it didn't do as good a job as my usual brand. It did lighten my hair but not by as much as the Nordic ones do.
Tips: If you only want to lift a couple of levels this might be a good option for you.
I’m a sucker for DIY hair colours and often change up my colour - sometimes with amazing results, sometimes not so much....
To be honest I was drawn to this product because of the packaging, it’s really crisp and clear and appealing. Reading through the product details I discovered it’s ammonia free (what?! It’s bleach?!), but has an oil base bleach.
The contents are the usual - purple conditioner, developer, bleaching powder and lightening creme. The gloves come in a little capsule and are AMAZING!! Strong, easy to get on, flexible so you can still have great touch feel and a perfect size.
After applying in an balayage style I left it on for 45mins and washed out. There was no burning, no irritation and no awful smell.
I used the purple conditioner and after drying my hair was quite impressed. Yes there was a bit of brass showing through, but my hair had loads of colour build up and was quite dark so no surprise there.
My hair feels soft and not damaged at all. With some toner and purple shampoo it’s perfect.
Tips: Be realistic about the colour you’ll end up with - it won’t take your hair to a true blonde straight away but given its gentleness I was absolutely fine with that
After the long lockdown me being me I wanted to do my bright purple hair color, i was wanting to do this for months it was ling overdue. It had been sitting in the cupboard waiting for the bleach to be brought an done, when what do you know my go 2 brand was absolutely nowhere to be seen at all (Nordic L++) wwwaaa. This was all I eventually found so thought, hey your going back to tech so let's get this done whoop whoop. Well was i disappointed or what, quite a bit of the natural colour was removed which was good. However I put my amazing 2 purples in my hair, for them not to take to the area that had the newly bleached color and fyi people I have been doing my own hair for a very long time so I know what I am doing. I would definitely have to say I will never ever ever be using this brand again, an when I am asked by friends an family about that brand I tell them exactly what happened to my hair. The only good thing was that my hair still felt normal after bleaching it with this product, and the smell wasn't to bad.
My hair is a really dark brown, so I didn't have high hopes when it came to bleaching my hair. I bought two packets as I wasn't sure how far they would go on my long bob hair. I only ended up needing one to cover my hair. This product comes with really good gloves that actually fit you hands. The first application did a surprisingly good job of removing the colour from my hair. Yes, it was rather orange, but my hair was still in good condition, so I used the next box and repeated the application. After the second application my hair was a brassy yellow, but I wasn't expecting to get to the blonde I was after in the first day anyway. I was really surprised by how good my hair still felt despite two applications of this bleach in one day. I used a cool blonde permanent dye a few days later to even out the colour and toned it a bit. Unless you already have light hair, this product is probably not going to give you really light blonde right away, but for me it was worth it to not completely damage my hair.
I purchased this kit as I know the brand has a good reputation. Pain opening the kit I was impressed to find a pair of gloves that were a nice soft plastic and a pretty good fit, they weren’t baggy and hard like some gloves can be making them hard to disperse and manage the colour. I was applying this bleach on my regrow which was about 3 inches long, there was enough bleach to cover my regrowth so it was ‘wet’ and then to comb down through my lengths which sits just below my shoulder. I was very impressed that there was no harsh ammonia smell and absolutely no burning to my scalp which to me is a massive bonus, this comes down to the fact that it is oil based and ammonia free. I left the bleach on to process for 45 minutes, I could see through the dye that my hair was definitely lighter. Washing the dye out and using the purple conditioning treatment that it comes with I was also pleased to find that my hair felt soft with minimal damage. Unfortunately that is where the positives stopped, Upon doing my hair and looking in the mirror my hair was a very VERY orange, not the usual brassy tone some bleaches leave but actual ginger/orange. My hair colour before applying the dye was a dark blonde to light/Mousey brown. The leaflet enclosed had a photo of results from medium-dark brown lifting it to the platinum blonde pictured on the box so I was rather disappointed. They dye is marketed at being a lightening bleach to prep for further colouring ie. the pastel shades in the Colorista range. I had purchased a light ash blonde in a different brand to go over if needed - which I most definitely did! Even after applying the second different branded dye which did contain ammonia I was able to lift most of the orange tones but there is still a lot remaining, therefore I wouldn’t expect a wash out pastel colour to take to it very well at all. The other downside was that I had terrible patches, around my hairline at the front there are a number of spots where the bleach hasn’t taken and then a few other spots in different areas. I am very very cautious to ensure I have total coverage when applying so I was very disappointed to find these dark patches. I will not be using this kit again.
Tips: Ensure you have totally saturated all areas of your hair, maybe even purchase two kits to ensure you have enough. Only use if you are lightening to apply a second colour.
I had high hopes for this bleach because the colour range is awesome but what a disappointment it turned out to be. I have black hair so I didn't expect it to bleach my hair to a blonde colour as in the photo. But a light brown is also not what I expected after leaving it for the amount of time they advised for. It didn't even lift 3-4 shades off from my virgin black hair. And most disappointingly it didn't lift the pink tone from my temp dye ends which my regular bleach always do. So after using this I had to use my regular Schwarzkopf bleach, too. Won't be buying this again. One plus I can say about this is that the conditioner that comes in the box is amazeballs! Only a small bit is enough and it conditioned so well. Any one knows if this conditioner is sold separately?
Tips: It will suit if you already have light colour hair. Don't buy if you have stubborn asian black hair that refuse to give up its colour.
I bought this pack of bleach because a) my roots desperately needed a touch up and b) I was interested to see what it would be like. I paid the full $20 smackers for it, and it’s a purchase I definitely do not regret.
The bleach comes in an eye catching box, mostly white with the shiny silver. My magpie senses were tingling. Inside the box you would find the usual suspects – the applicator bottle, the color, conditioner and easy to read instructions. As this is bleach, instead of color it came with a sachet of powder and a tube of oil based bleach. This bleach does not contain ammonia. This is a fact I didn’t know when I purchased, so when I began applying I was pleasantly surprised!
To use, you mix the powder into the developing cream, and you then add the tube of oil based… stuff, I’m not sure the proper name for it and I’m not dumpster diving to find out. You roll it between your hands to mix, and then shake straight up and down to finish combining. The kit comes with an AWESOME pair of gloves – they’re thick and they fit my hands quite perfectly. I think if you had big hands you may have issues.
Application is easy, you just turn the bottle upside down and squirt the bleach where you want it. It’s just like using normal dye, except this will lighten your hair. To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure it’d work, as I usually associate bleach with an awful smell. 45 minutes later, though, my roots are definitely blonder.
I began rinsing and I was so, SO pleased to find that the bleach had not damaged my hair like it usually does. It was still soft and manageable in the water, so I was really happy. The kit comes with purple conditioner, and I guess if you stay blonde it’s supposed to be a 6 week treatment. I’m not planning on staying blonde for long, so I used half of the tube. You leave the conditioner in for 15 minutes so it can work it’s magic, and after showering it out I can definitely see a difference in the tone of my hair.
I will definitely be repurchasing this. 1 box was enough to do 4 months worth of regrowth. 4 months!!! I will admit though, my hair didn’t go platinum like it did on the box. At best, the hair closest to my scalp is platinum, and the rest is a blondey, orangey color. Mostly blonde though. It did miss a few spots where I very clearly went over with what was left in the tube, so it’s mostly a hit and not often a miss. It did not burn, which is fantastic as the last 2 times I've used hair salon grade bleach I've had burns from it. Regardless, this was a damn good experiment and I’m pleased to say it’s worked in my favour.
Tips: I used a hair dye brush to apply the bleach, it helped to disperse it more.
So I like this a lot, it is less drying and damaging than other store bought bleach and I did not get as much brassyness or "chicken stock," yellow BUT it also did not lighten as well as other brands. Would I use it again? Yes, because I know what to expect. Did it do what it said? Kind of, I just wanted to go a few shades lighter than it ended up giving. Would I recommend? Yes, for someone wanting to go blonde slowly OR wanting to lighten to put another colour over.
