The conditioner smells amazing, and hair colour is just as described. Doesn’t dry out hair or damage. Hair feels soft and strong after colour.
As a fine grower of grey hair since the age of 14, I have tried many brands of hair colour in my time. None have made my hair look as healthy as feel as silky as Garnier Nutrisse. I have quite long hair, but I generally only colour my regrowth alone, every 6-8 weeks so the amount of product is not an issue. Love the little conditioner, smells great and lasts at least 2 more washes after initial use. Only con is the little tab that you tear off the bottle often leaves a tiny sharp point at the tip, but the price of Nutrisse is actually so budget friendly it's not something that would stop me from purchasing!
Being a hairdresser it was so hard to go back to buying boxed hair colour…as I was no longer working in a salon that did colour….so I found this beauty so happy with the result it gave. My hair felt nice afterwards, with beautiful shine smells good too, covered my greys which is a must, affordable price :)
Tips: I do recommend that if you are wanting full coverage you will need to go a shade darker than what you have or it won’t colour the those lovely natural highlights popping through. Happy colouring ;)
Love this easy to use product. I find it doesn’t cover my grey hairs entirely though, nevertheless, I have continued to use it for years as in my opinion it does a good enough job for the price! So I will kee using it. The colour result is also reliable, so I trust the brand. I like the conditioner it comes with, though I have one that is more effective for my hair.
Tips: If you have a really good conditioner then maybe use the one that comes with the product once, after you wash the colour out after applying, and then use your own very good conditioner if you have one that is great for your hair. Otherwise hair can be a bit dry still afterwards. At least for me. Then treat hair with a leave in conditioner or oil or mineral spray to continue to add moisture to you hair. Especially if you have dry hair like I do.
This review is for garnier nutrisse blonde aphrodite 9.0. It Does not cover greys and the actual colour is much darker than indicated on the box! It's more like a medium blonde than the light one it implies. It also did not lift my dark roots at all. I've never had any trouble dying out my half black half white/grey roots before with any dye.. but this did nothing.. almost like a semi permanent. I definitely not recommend and only writing this to warn others off wasting their money. The only upside was their conditioner was good & smelled nice.
Hair dyes are all much of a muchness to me, I like to be able to pick them up at the warehouse or Kmart for convenience , I colour my hair every 3 months or so, I am not too fussed on which brand I use so when I saw this on sale for $6 I grabbed a box. I am pretty happy with the results for the price of it. Good grey coverage and the little treatment for washing out the dye is lovely.
I’ve recently gone back to colouring my hair at home to save money. I have mousy brown hair with lots of grey coming through although I’ve been colouring my hair blonde since I was a teenager. I bought this dye because I really like Garnier products and it was only about $9 on special. Unfortunately as soon as I rinsed it out, my hair looked orange. I use a purple shampoo/conditioner and it normally helps settle any brassiness down after a few days but unfortunately it’s been a month and I’m still orange. The formula itself was fine and it certainly hasn’t dried my hair out but it’s a hard no from me. I have friends that use this brand and love it but they have dark hair and just use it to cover greys. It’s definitely covered mine so for that it may suit someone who is looking for that kind of product and not to lighten their hair.
I used this for a long time and i never had any problems. It colours al my hair with one application.
I liked the colout a lot its always bright and shiny. My hair always feels soft with the step 3.
Tips: Try to put on treat ment in the sam week as the colouring it tent to dry our your sculpt
Was really excited to dye my hair brown. I used the shade 5 chocolate brown. I didnt expect it to fade so fast. i wash my hair every second day and even use the garnier colour last shampoo and conditioner but my hair is almost completely back to its natural colour after only 3 washes ): (i have naturally dark ginger hair) on a positiive note though my hair still felt really soft and shiny after and there was no damage. Im going to try the loreal hair dye soon because ive heard that one lasts well.
Tips: use two boxes for longer or thicker hair.
