I use this alongside the damage rewind shampoo and conditioner and absolutely love it. As soon as I apply it to my hair it feels soft and silky and stays that way until the next wash. I didn’t think it was as pigmented as the shampoo so I leave it in my hair for 10-15 minutes to get that ashy tone without any staining. The formula is pretty runny but I thought that just made it easier to apply. The smell is a bit off putting though, has quite a weird chemical smell to it. However it doesn’t last long so not too sure how good the fragrance technology that it’s supposed to use actually is! For around $30 it’s definitely worth the price.

Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Treatment
Reviews
Tips: Towel dry your hair for a better result as applying it to super wet hair seems to wash it out straight away!
Let's be honest a lot of the time you pay for what you get... This was one of those that is true for. There are supermarket ones that are better and even cheaper. We all know that being blonde doesn't make our hair feel the best but it has never felt this dry before. The only thing different in my routine is this product. I would not use again, and like a lot of the other reviews I agree it does leave a purple tinge. I understand that some people like that but it's definitely not for me, I would expect a tone/tinge like that if I was to leave it on for 10+ minutes not just a simple wash through
This is such a dark purple colour in the tube that I was a bit nervous to put it on my naturally light blond hair and while it did whiten the yellowness in my hair it also made the lightest blonde parts go a light purple colour even when I just washed it straight out rather than leave it on for the recommended time.
I was worried the fragrance would be too much after reading it uses FragranceFuse technology but it wasn’t very noticeable once my hair was dry.
I can’t say I noticed my hair was any softer or smoother if anything it felt a little bit dried out.
Tips: Maybe try wrapping the lightest parts of your hair in foil before applying to the rest of your hair to save them from going purple
This hair treatment was the last perfect match with the fudge shampoo and conditioner. It smoothed my hair, and left it hydrated after blow drying and straightening. It toned the hair nicely and gave it the best ashy cool tone, without having to leave it on for a long period of time.
Tips: Semi towel dry hair and leave on for 5 minutes
I was excited to try this fudge range as I have used purple toning products on my lightened hair before but found it left something to be desired - what would this range bring?
For starters I really like the packaging - bold colour choices of purple and silver with bits of orange and white stand out. You will never get this product confused with something else. I love the bottle stands on it's cap, meaning that the product always comes out easily.
The product itself is super purple and quite runny - easy to spill all over the place if you aren't careful leaving your shower looking like you murdered the flying purple people eater. The product does sit well in wet hair though and felt very smooth and silky. The packaging warns that the product may stain but I never found it stained my skin or the shower walls if rinsed well.
One thing I did find odd though was in the small print on the back was the claim that the product is developed with FrangraceFuse technology hat infuses each strand of hair with an explosion of fragrance that lasts for 24hours. This isn't mentioned on the front of the packaging and I'm not sure many people look for a treatment to intentionally give their hair a strong smell. And while I don't find the scent unpleasant, I feel like it could clash with other fragrances you might want to use so seems to be an interesting choice. I wonder if this might put some people off?
The results were pretty awesome overall. I was a bit skeptical about the instantly removes damage from hair claims on the packaging as I have long thin hair prone to breakage and split ends, but even from the first use I did see a difference. I had less hair fall in the shower or brushing, my split ends seemed to mostly disappear and my lightened hair colour looked more natural and blended with my natural hair that I'm growing out. My hair also feels smoother and softer, compared to the drying out I have experienced with other purple toning products.
While the price point is definitely more than I would normally spend, having used this along with the rest of the range I would definitely say it's worth it and will be buying again when I run out. Highly recommend!
Tips: Maybe use the day before any big gig so that you aren't worried about clashing fragrances.
Loved this! Found it added a lot of moisture back into my hair after washing. Smells devine, itsn't too strongly scented which is nice. Definitely helped in cooling down some yellow tones I had in my hair.
Tips: Leave on longer, more toning and better treatment for your hair. Not as pigmented as the shampoo so not so much of a risk of ending up with purple hair!
I cannot express how badly my hair needed this. I only began bleaching my hair in January but it was already extremely damaged. I had frizzy ends, breakage and worst of all I could never get the brassy tones out. After one use of the fudge clean blonde damage rewind shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, my hair felt silky soft, the frizzy ends weren't so frizzy and the brassy tones were basically completely gone. The mask is a deep purple colour, basically the same as the shampoo and it also smells wonderful, I can't place what the scent is but it's like being in a salon, but slightly sweeter. It's quite a runny texture and a little goes a long way. The directions say to smooth over hair and leave it on for two minutes or longer, I left it in while I did my exfoliation and shaving which worked out to be around 15-20 minutes. The packaging does warn that it can stain your skin, again, I didn't notice any extra staining from the mask, but I did have to be careful when leaning forward not to drip any into my eye as it is a bit runny. I'm very impressed at how blonde my hair was after one treatment, the brassy tones were all but gone and my hair was so soft it was like I hadn't damaged it at all. I will be using this forever now and recommending it to all my blonde friends.
Tips: Use in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner for best results.
I have been let down by many treatments before and thought considering this wasn't at a high price point I may not find much value in the product, however, I was surprised to notice my hair actually was significantly smoother after using the treatment. I had a nice light feel which is perfect as I have hair more on the oily and flat/thin side, and did notice my hair was more toned. The baby hairs and broken ends weren't as noticeable so I definitely think it lives up to the claims of smoothing and having a healthier appearance. However, while I did think the smell was really nice from the bottle - on the floral side of things - it said my hair would stay smelling like that and I didn't notice any difference in that area.
All in all, I think it's a decent treatment at an affordable price and I can see myself continuing to use it.
After using the Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind treatment once a week for the last 2 weeks I can say I'm a fan and will continue to use it. It is a creamy violet colour and a nice addition to follow the Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo and conditioner. Consistancy is thick and creamy and left my hair feeling well hydrated which it definitely needed. The fragrance is nice not too strong but lasts a good day or two. Used with the Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo and conditioner my blonde is looking nicely toned and feeling in top condition. I've previously only used a purple shampoo with other conditioner and Treatment but have liked using the full 3 products.
I love this product. I have been using it for years. I use it once a week or fortnight to take the brassy tones out if my beach streaked hair. It leaves my hair such a pretty colour and also leaves it feeling amazing!
Tips: Use it with the matching conditioner
